Moscow International Motor Show is held every two years, and so far the Russian capital could not boast of the increased attention of the world auto companies who have tried to introduce new cars in Europe or Asia. In 2012, the situation changed.
As the organizers of the event, this year's motor show in Moscow will host 14 world premieres at once, which would be a record for the entire duration of the exhibition. Latest machines that have the public does not see, will present the Audi, Bentley, BMW, Citroen, Jaguar, Lada, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Opel, Skoda, and domestic gas.
In addition, the MIAS-2012 will be held on 18 European premieres. They will be held at the booths brands BMW, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Lifan, SsangYong, Suzuki, Volkswagen. Most of all, of course, will be Russian Prime Minister - about 70 openings. This year, automakers bring to Moscow 29 concept cars.
Just auto show will feature more than 100 companies, the number of visitors promised to exceed $ 1 million. For this it was necessary to increase the area of the event almost doubled compared with 2010. For comparison, the last time at an auto show in Moscow welcomed 48 companies, 41 of them automaker. For example, in 2010 the Moscow motor show ignored Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Smart and ZAZ. In addition, as noted above, at this year's auto show in the Russian capital for the first time speak Spanish brand SEAT.
More companies will be presented in the "non-automotive" pavilions. The number of tire manufacturers that put their stands at the "Crocus Expo", as well as manufacturers of consumables (eg, oil), and related products (car alarms, etc.).
Moscow International Motor Show will be officially launched on 31 August. Prior to that, two days will be devoted to the press and the business community.
