I've spent a few weeks going on looking and looking for a car windshield/dash mount cradle holder for my HTC Inspire 4G. I needed something to where I can easily get to my phone while driving in my car. I've actually gone into stores, like Best Buy, but they either don't have what I'm really looking for or that it's too expensive. I saw this one, HTC Inspire 4G Car Windshield Dash Mount Cradle Holder Kit Desire G10. When I FIRST saw this, it was a completely different picture (the main picture of showing the holder sitting in both directions). Before and after I had purchased and received this item, it showed a different picture and it's NOT what I received in the mail. Like right now, I'm seeing on the side of my screen - the Item being reviewed- a holder that has silver on the sides that hold the phone in place, whereas the one I got is all black. I guess it really doesn't matter now, but wished that the it didn't show 2 different pictures when it's the same product name.
I'll have to say that (so far) the sucttion cup (I have it placed on my windshield) has been on since the moment I put it on there. Hasn't fallen off, even how hot it's been here lately :) I do like how long the neck is on it, being able to move it for reaching purposes. I did try placing it on the dashboard in my car, but it's not really a flat surface so it wouldn't have stayed. But I like being able to place it on the left side of the steering-wheel, not in the way of my view. :)
I would've probably given this a 4-5 star, but being that I wasn't really happy seeing that what I got didn't look like the picture I've been seeing more and more every time I've clicked on "HTC Inspire 4G ATT Car Windshield Dash Mount Cradle Holder Kit Desire G10." Another thing, I had done a 'test run' by placing my phone in the holder and taking it out, but every time I've done that, the cradle comes WITH my phone. :/ It was annoying me b/c even though there's a LOCK thing on the back of the cradle itself, it wasn't staying put at all. I was getting a bit frustrated. So since I'm just using that holder mainly for my phone, having it in the vertical position I had my husband super-glue the cradle to the suction cup part. LOL! There was no point in shipping this item back to the seller and I wasn't about to go and spend way MORE than what I had paid for to begin with elsewhere. So far, it's working well, just I guess a little 'tacky' that the cradle is now super-glued to the other part. But hey, it's fine with me. Get's the job done, right? I don't need anything too extravagant.
